Is this training self paced

No. Training at the Institute of Operative & Alchemical Magic is guided and structured. While individual pacing is respected, progression is based on readiness, consistency of practice, and demonstrated understanding rather than independent content consumption.

Do I need prior experience to apply

Prior experience is not required for foundational training. Applicants should demonstrate maturity, commitment, and the ability to engage in disciplined study. Some advanced instruction may require prior training within the Institute or equivalent experience.

How long does the training take

Training length varies depending on level of entry, prior experience, and pace of engagement. As a general guideline, the full program represents approximately one hundred eighty to two hundred fifty hours of combined instruction and practice.

Is certification or accreditation provided

The Institute provides certificates of completion recognizing successful participation and demonstrated competence within its training programs. Certification reflects readiness, practical understanding, and responsible engagement with the material rather than academic credit or government accreditation.

Institute certification is issued within the scope of professional and educational training and is intended to acknowledge completion of instruction within the Institute’s modality. It does not represent licensure, medical qualification, or academic degree status.

Is this training religious in nature

No. Instruction is educational and practice based. While historical religious and spiritual contexts are addressed as part of traditional systems, the Institute does not promote belief based adherence or religious conversion.

Is this training therapy or counseling

No. Training is educational in nature and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. Applicants are expected to maintain appropriate professional support when needed.

Are the courses offered online or in person

Training formats may include guided coursework, remote instruction, or other structured methods depending on the program. Specific delivery details are provided to accepted applicants.

Why is enrollment application based

Application based enrollment ensures responsible instruction, informed consent, and appropriate readiness for operative training. This approach supports student safety and the integrity of the material.

Can I purchase courses without applying

Institute training is not available through open purchase. Independent courses offered elsewhere on Enochian dot org are separate from Institute instruction and may be used as supplemental study.

What if I am not accepted

Applicants who are not accepted may be encouraged to pursue preparatory study or to reapply at a later time. Non acceptance does not reflect judgment, but readiness and alignment at the time of application.
